Learning Across Intelligences

Retro/Pro/Spective : 15 years plus 15 years

As The Improbable marks its 15th anniversary, it moves away from a traditional retrospective - often understood as a closing narrative - and instead projects itself 15 years into the future, from which it looks back at the present. In doing so, the past 15 years enter into dialogue with the 15 to come: reflected, reinterpreted, and set in motion as a source of creation.

From July 6 to July 11, the event unfolds as a multidisciplinary experience structured around an exhibition at Bétonsalon, its central hub. This exhibition presents emblematic artworks developed through Improbable seminars, alongside pieces that reveal the underlying methodology - making visible both the works and the processes that shape them.

Throughout the week, the space is activated by a series of interconnected moments: public mediation sessions introducing the six practices of the methodology, informal gatherings around the artworks, discussions, performances, and curated music sets. Together, these elements create an open environment where art is not only exhibited, but explored, experienced, and collectively interpreted.
